The award-winning G3241 IQV20™ Cordless Adhesive Remover is helping redefine adhesive removal by bringing cordless freedom to a category traditionally dominated by pneumatic tools. Recognized by PTIA as the industry's first cordless adhesive remover, the G3241 was praised for delivering a purpose-built solution that eliminates the need for air hoses while improving efficiency in collision repair and automotive service applications.
Designed for removing adhesives, decals, emblems, wheel weights, and residue, the G3241 features a patent-pending two-speed selector that allows technicians to adapt performance based on the application. A lower speed setting enables more controlled removal on painted and composite surfaces, while a higher setting delivers aggressive performance for tougher adhesive removal jobs.
Running at speeds up to 3,700 RPM and weighing less than two pounds, the G3241 provides the maneuverability and precision professionals need for all-day use. PTIA judges specifically highlighted the tool's ability to streamline adhesive removal by eliminating the need for scrapers, abrasives, and air hoses, ultimately improving productivity and mobility in the shop.
V3121 IQV20™ Cordless Riveting Tool
Also earning top recognition in 2026 was the V3121 IQV20™ Cordless Rivet Tool, Ingersoll Rand's first cordless rivet tool. Engineered to improve productivity in assembly, repair, fabrication, and maintenance applications, the V3121 delivers powerful performance in a compact cordless platform.
The V3121 generates 20 kN of pulling force, features a rapid 1.36-second cycle time, and can install up to 450 rivets per charge using a 2.5Ah IQV20™ battery. Compatible with aluminum, steel, and stainless-steel rivets up to 1/4-inch, it provides exceptional versatility across a wide range of fastening applications.
What helped distinguish the V3121 in the eyes of PTIA judges were its innovative user-focused features. The tool incorporates a patent-pending 360-degree shadowless LED light, improving visibility in confined or poorly lit workspaces. It also features a patent-pending transparent mandrel collector that can be positioned in four different orientations and holds more than 50 spent rivet pins, helping keep work areas cleaner while reducing interruptions.
