Ingersoll Rand®, a global leader in reliable and innovative power tools, is adding to their patented DXS® Drive Xchange System™ with the launch of DXS® Impact Sockets. These innovative direct drive sockets replace the traditional square drive with a proprietary spline-type interface that fits tighter and has more load bearing surface.
“The DXS® Impact Sockets eliminate the frustration of power loss from worn-out sockets and square drive anvils by delivering up to 15% better torque transfer and 20% longer wear,” said David Dobersztyn, Global Portfolio Leader, Vehicle Repair Tools at Ingersoll Rand. “They also provide easier access to tight spaces with up to 3/4" shorter tool length when used with Ingersoll Rand® DXS® impact wrenches.”
Made from chrome molybdenum (CR-MO) alloy steel for exceptional strength and durability, the sockets are compatible with all DXS® Drive Xchange System™ impact wrenches. A ball nose retention pin enables quick, tool-free installation and removal.
DXS® sockets are available in 4 sets (SAE/Metric/Standard/Deep) and can also be purchased individually. They are backed by a lifetime limited warranty for peace of mind with proven reliability.
